
NEW YORK, NY (MTV Networks) - MTV Networks (MTVN), a division of Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), today announced that
Kevin Arrix has been promoted to Senior Vice President,
Digital Advertising Sales. In his new role, Arrix will be responsible for executing on MTVN's digital ad sales strategy, and developing marketing solutions that encompass the company's portfolio of multi-platform brands. Arrix will report to Nada Stirratt, Executive Vice President,
Digital Advertising Sales, MTV Networks and will continue to be based at the company's New York City headquarters.
"During his past four years at Nickelodeon, Kevin built a true multi-platform ad sales business across television, online, broadband, wireless and print," said Stirratt. "Kevin is adept at connecting advertisers with our audiences wherever they interact with media, and I'm thrilled to now have him apply his expertise to deliver solutions that encompass all of MTV Networks' brands."

Arrix served most recently as Vice President, Digital Advertising Sales, for Nickelodeon. In this position, Arrix played a dual role, overseeing all digital revenue for the brand and managing a linear TV ad sales team as well. During Arrix's four years with Nickelodeon, the company successfully launched new brands including ParentsConnect.com and The N, integrated the new acquisition Neopets, and nearly tripled the size of its digital ad sales team. Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Arrix spent three years at CBS SportsLine, where he held a variety of responsibilities, including management of the sports website's European-based and East Coast sales teams, respectively. Arrix also spent seven years at Turner Broadcasting, working largely in international ad sales.
Arrix graduated from Duke University. He lives in New Canaan, CT with his wife Kirsten, and their children Ollie and Charlotte.
