(Larissa Lam Official Website, www.LarissaLam.com) -- Soulful singer-songwriter Larissa Lam will be the featured performer at the 10th Annual Media Achievement Awards Dinner Thursday, November 9, 2006 from 6pm to 10pm at the Town & Gown on the USC Campus. She will also serve as Mistress of Ceremonies in honoring the writers and creators of Lost, Grey's Anatomy, King of the Hill, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle and Lilo and Stitch. The Media Action Network for Asian Americans (MANAA) and honorary co-chairs, Los Angeles Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, actress Ming-Na and Wes Tanaka of Southern California Edison are recognizing these notable shows and films for promoting diversity and Asian American representation in media.

Lam will perform a song from her latest album, "Revolutionary." Over the summer, Lam promoted her album release in Singapore and enjoyed a top 10 single in the U.S. on the CCM/Rhythmic Radio charts with her song "Breathing More." Lam is currently composing music for a new musical play, Lady of Joy, written by Flower Drum Song author, CY Lee.

Celebrity presenters for the Media Achievement Awards include actresses Tia Carrere (“Dancing With the Stars”), Lauren Tom (“Men In Trees”), Keiko Agena (“Gilmore Girls”), and Gwendoline Yeo (“Desperate Housewives”),
