NEW YORK, NY. (Dave Evans Official Website) -– The “King Of All Badasses,” legendary Australian rocker DAVE EVANS (Rabbit, Thunder Down Under, Hot Cockerel, and a founder and original vocalist of megaband AC/DC) will be embarking on a “Back On The Firing Line Promotional Tour” of the Southwest US commencing mid November 2006 and lasting until mid February 2007. The promotionaltour is in support of EVANS recent U.S. release of his “Sinner” album (Heart Attack Records). DAVE EVANS is a cultural icon with one of the finest and strongest rock voices in the world. His highly energetic shows bring down the house performance after performance. He delivers straight ahead, no nonsense, unpretentious, hard rock.

DAVE was a member of AC/DC from the bands inception in 1973 until 1974. Following his departure from AC/DC, DAVE EVANS formed the wild hedonistic rock band Rabbit, Melbourne 80s rock outfit Dave Evans and Thunder Down Under, and lastly Dave Evans and Hot Cockerel. He has also toured as a solo act.

After successfully touring across Europe and with the fans asking for and demanding a new DAVE EVANS album, DAVE got together with some of Australia's finest hard rock musicians to write and record “Sinner”. Former Rabbit band members and mates Mark Tinson and David Hinds were quickly recruited as was former Hot Cockerel band member Simon Croft. Along with Newcastle's finest - Mac on drums and Ngariki on bass (and guitar on a couple of tracks) - everyone went to work to write and record this classic hard rock album. “Sinner” was originally released in 2004 on Germanys Cultural Minority record label for the European market. With the 2006 re-release of “Sinner” on Heart Attack Records, the album can now be found in stores across America. The CD is also available from internet retailer CD Baby (www.cdbaby.com) and from DAVEs website (www.daveevans.au.com

“Sinner” has the power, feel and conviction that hard rock fans all over the world love. Heres what critics have had to say about “Sinner”:

"Dave Evans' new cd, Sinner, kicks rock right in the teeth!"
- Neeley, The Classic Metal Show, February 2006

"Sinner has a great energy level throughout. 'Back On The Firing Line' has entered my sub-conscious and won't leave. It's one of those great songs that stay with you."
- R. Scott Bolton, RoughEdge.com, April 2006

"Original AC/DC vocalist returns with what I think is his first proper solo album entitled Sinner... Sinner is a pure Australian hard rock n' roll album. Dave sounds great and the albums 12 kick ass tracks include 'Back On The Firing Line,' 'Rock 'N' Roll Or Bust,' 'Sinner,' 'Turn It Up,' 'Go Down Fighting' and 'The Thunder From Down Under'."
- George Brautigam, Rock and Roll Damnation, March/April 2006
DAVE EVANS is available for TV, radio, print and online interviews.
DAVE EVANS is represented for management, bookings and publicity by DaSBro Enterprise of New York City. DAVEs “US team” includes: Katherine M. Smith, publicist and agent (Cold Front Promotions, Arlington, Texas, www.coldfrontpromotions.com); Theresa Bowen, president of the Dave Evans International Fan Club Society; and Jimi Thunder, bassist and band leader for the “Back On The Firing Line Promotional Tour”.
