Sydney, AU. (Universal Music Australia) -- “The Scottish indie-popsters perform a gorgeously melodic set of achingly melancholic songs underpinned by anthemic keys, soft guitar and lusciously layered vocals.” fasterlouder.com.au

Selling out their first two Australian tours, Snow Patrol are no strangers to adoring crowds. Next February, theyll return to Australia to play for more of their adoring fans, and this time theyll head to Perth as well!

Snow Patrol have moved from strength to strength in 2006. Eyes Open (out now through Universal Music Australia), the breathtaking follow-up to 2003s Final Straw, topped the charts in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand, and with worldwide sales in excess of one million, Snow Patrols renaissance has just begun.

Making serious inroads into the American market this year, the single Chasing Cars has made the Top Ten on the Billboard 100. The song also featured in the season finale of Greys Anatomy, which recently screened in Australia and further added to the bands popularity downunder. In addition to this, Snow Patrols songs have also featured in The 4400 and ER and the band have been Jay Lenos very own musical guests. It seems that world domination is just a footstep away!

A Snow Patrol show is as much an experience for the audience as it is the band. Rave Magazine wrote of their recent Splendour in the Grass appearance: “…the Supertop audience met every one of frontman Gary Lightbody's delighted smiles with waving arms, over-the-head handclapping and devoted sing-a-longs.”

Joining Snow Patrol on this tour are the Howling Bells and Red Riders. The Howling Bells released their debut self-titled album (Liberation) earlier this year to critical acclaim, receiving a 9/10 from UK indie bible NME. Beguiling and sultry, they instantly captivated music lovers and were thrust into the spotlight both here and overseas. Touring Europe with The Killers and Placebo this November and December respectively, the Howling Bells are hot property in Australia.

Red Riders are about to become a household name. Having already toured the country with The Living End, The Grates, Little Birdy and Youth Group, their time is now. Theyve been kicking around the live music scene for three years now and their debut album Replica Replica (Ivy League), which hit shelves just a few weeks ago, has drawn praise from both old fans and new, as well as a rapturous response from media. The next big thing? Its very likely.

And now for a word of warning… Snow Patrol shows SELL OUT. So if you missed out last time, dont make the same mistake twice. Secure your tickets when they go on sale on THURSDAY 23 NOVEMBER.
