NASHVILLE, TN (903 Music) -– This Veterans Day weekend, 903 Music recording artist Darryl Worley makes two special musical performances which will honor those who have served in Americas Armed Forces.

Tomorrow night, Darryl plays the American Freedom Festival in Washington, DC, and Saturday (Veterans Day), hell perform on the legendary Nashville stage at The Ryman Auditorium for Great American Countrys (GAC) Veterans Day-themed Grand Ole Opry Live broadcast, when Darryl debuts on television a full performance of his riveting radio single, “I Just Came Back (from a War).”

“I Just Came Back (from a War)” is striking an emotional chord with listeners nationwide, rapidly ascending the Country radio charts and garnering the attention of national media including The New York Times, Reuters, Associated Press Television, and The Today Show.

The song, co-written by Darryl with Wynn Varble, was inspired by a veteran Darryl met who was having a difficult time adjusting to life back home after being in a war zone. Darryl has stated that this song is about compassion and healing and having understanding and patience for a fellow human being who has been through something so traumatic, as so many veterans have after serving in various conflicts throughout American history.

The American Freedom Festival benefits the American Freedom Foundation, Inc., a foundation organized to honor veterans of Americas Armed Forces and raise money and awareness for various veterans organizations with special emphasis directed to welfare and educational issues facing those wounded in action, amputees and families and children of veterans killed in action during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tomorrow nights concert at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC, begins at 7:30 PM.

Saturday nights Grand Ole Opry Live broadcast airs live on GAC at 8 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. PT.
This December, Darryl embarks on a USO Holiday Tour to the Persian Gulf region.
Darryls upcoming album Here and Now, featuring “I Just Came Back (from a War),” will be available at retail on November 21.
