Boston, MA (Comin Atcha Distribution) -- Comin Atcha Distribution (CAD) set out several years ago to level the playing field and help provide access to product distribution for independents. Joe Langham, President of Comin Atcha Distribution, had seen first hand that it had become extremely difficult for Artists and Labels to acquire national distribution. Many indie labels found the door to getting distribution closed to them and those that were able to sneak in were not receiving due and timely compensation from their product sales. In November 2005, Langham wrote an article about the indie distribution problem titled "Are Indie Labels Being Robbed by Distributors." This article received lots of attention and affirmation from the gospel music community. Shortly thereafter Langham received several invitations to speak on the topic including one from the Dean of Music Business at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

Langham believes that nothing has changed in the year since he wrote the article. "You wouldn't believe the amount of independent labels that are out there right now looking for distribution," he says. "In the music industry today, the larger distribution companies are still either merging or making cuts. Major distribution companies have become more selective concerning which labels they sign, and a lot of independent labels are left without distribution."

2006 was a good year for Comin Atcha Distribution as the company increased its roster of independent artists. CAD distributes products by inspirational and gospel artists such as Freda Battle & the Temple Worshippers (produced by Israel Houghton), Witness, Surel, Bobby Perry & R.A.I.N, Harlem Boys & Girls Choir among others.

Langham adds "In 2007 we are happy to announce that CAD, the new haven for independents, will expand its reach into other genres. This expansion will include Artists like Vicki Baker (Blues), Keefe Marzell (Jazz), The Cab Calloway Orchestra Band featuring Billy Joel (Big Band). CAD will also release its first Gospel Hip-Hop artist, Mark J and first quartet artist, the Concert Supremes.
Comin Atcha Distribution distributes its products via Brody, SONY-RED Distribution.
