Sunday, November 19: Favorite L.A. Tree Lighting Celebration, ''Hollywood Christmas Celebration from The Grove,'' Marks the Beginning of a Spectacular Holiday Season

LOS ANGELES, CA. (Casey Sayre & Williams, Inc.) --The annual free “Hollywood Christmas Celebration from The Grove” marks a magical start to the holidays on Sunday, November 19 at 7 p.m. This year, the show will feature a special Salute to America�s Troops and performances by award winning musicians such as the legendary Hall & Oates, rockers Five for Fighting, 2006 American Idol runner-up Katherine McPhee, JoJo and a special duet by Kenny G and Elmo. Celebrity appearances include Lisa Rinna, Drew Lachey and Mark Steines as well as the stars of the upcoming Warner Bros. release “Unaccompanied Minors,” Wilmer Valderrama, Lewis Black, Tyler James Williams, Dyllan Christopher and Gina Mantegna. The evening also will include a special performance by the cast of “High School Musical,” a Disney Channel original movie about a group of students who share a passion for music and singing.

Wishes come true for a second year when The Grove partners with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater L.A. for its A Season of Wishes campaign to grant its first wish of the season to a special child from Los Angeles. The pinnacle of the night is the arrival of Santa, who will light The Grove�s 110-foot Christmas tree, followed by snow falling and a spectacular fireworks display.

Public Notice: After the center has reached its maximum capacity, entry to the holiday show will be closed. Very early arrival is recommended for those wishing to get good views of the stage.
