NASHVILLE, TN (Lyric Street) - AMA, CMA and ACM Vocal Group of The Year RASCAL FLATTS will kick off their 2007 concert tour, 'Me And My Gang 2007,' on February 8 in Charleston, West Virginia. The tour will play in 21 cities before wrapping in early April, at which time the band will take a break from the road to work on a new album. 'Me And My Gang 2007' will feature Jason Aldean, who performed on select Rascal Flatts dates in 2006. Show on-sales begin Dec. 9.

'There is nothing more rewarding than the time we spend on the road doing shows for our fans,' says Jay DeMarcus , bassist and vocalist.

A key feature of the 'Me And My Gang Tour' in 2007 is the interactive 'text-to-screen portion' of the concert. In partnership with Hurricane Interactive Promotion and echomusic, llc, the band enables their fans to send messages live to screens on each side of the stage - free of charge. Fans are also given the chance to opt-in to the newly established Rascal Flatts Mobile Club where they will receive concert updates and band-related news throughout the year.

Rascal Flatts wrapped their 'Me And My Gang 2006' tour in November performing to over ONE MILLION fans in 74 cities.

Rising country music star Jason Aldean was voted 2006 'Top New Male Vocalist' by the Academy of Country Music this year. His Broken Bow Record s self-titled debut release, which has sold over 800,000 copies, has been praised by critics calling Aldean 'the hottest new voice in country music.' The lead track 'Hicktown' was the monster hit that firmly planted the Georgia-native on the map, and the follow-up "Why" quickly skyrocketed to the No. one spot at country radio and on CMT's Top 20 Countdown. His third release 'Amarillo Sky ' is racing up the charts and currently sits at No. 12. Aldean has toured with some of country music's biggest names and has performed on some of television's biggest stages including ABC's CMA Music Festival Special, the 2006 Country Music Association Awards, and numerous other national media outlets.
