Nashville, TN (Curb Records) - Former lead singer of country group Trick Pony, HEIDI NEWFIELD, is pleased to announce she, Keith Burns, and Ira Dean will record their last album LIVE as Trick Pony on Wednesday, December 13, 2006. The show will be recorded at The Wildhorse Saloon, located at 120 2nd Ave. North in Nashville, Tennessee. There will be three shows beginning at 5:00pm, 7:00pm, and 9:00PM. Admission is $10 and available at the door.

'Wednesday night will be a very special and sentimental night for several reasons,' says Heidi. 'One, the Wildhorse stage is where we got our start 10 years ago-when Ira had bangs and I was WAY too blonde with interesting fashion sense! Secondly, it's where we got our record deal, and now it's where we'll play our last show together. What an amazing ride it's been! With this final show, we are paying tribute to the fans, the music, and the memories by recording a live album throughout the evening. Come join us!'

Trick Pony is known for there outrageous performances and stage dives from their lead vocalist Heidi Newfield. With their gold selling album, 'Trick Pony,' the group earned themselves an ACM for 'Top New Vocal Group' and an AMA for 'Favorite New Country Act.'

The decision to record a final Trick Pony project follows Heidi Newfield's announcement earlier this year that she will soon begin recording a solo album in 2007.

Please call the Wildhorse Saloon at (615) 902-8200 for additional details, and stay tuned to www.heidinewfield.com for additional information on both the LIVE album and her forthcoming solo project, both on Curb Records.
