
NEW YORK (Nas Official Website) - Nas, who has been enjoying a recent resurgence in popularity, has been tapped to headline Summer Jam 2002 in New York. Other artists scheduled to perform include Alicia Keys, Ja Rule, Mobb Deep, Ashanti, and Noreaga. The location and date of the show will be announced on WQHT in New York later this week.
In related news, a new song from Nas's Stillmatic, "You're Da Man," which was produced by Large Professor, has turned up on urban radio. The rapper is also featured on Jennifer Lopez's "I'm Gonna Be Alright," which is Number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and Jagged Edge's "I Got It 2," which is Number 60 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales chart.
Fans outside of New York City can also catch the highly sought-after rapper on tour with Usher and Faith Evans.
