30 Seconds to Mars (and Jared Leto) Celebrate Platinum Album at JET Nightclub at The Mirage

LAS VEGAS, NV. (Top40 Charts/ JET Nightclub/ www.jetlv.com) - Jared Leto and his progressive rock band, 30 Seconds to Mars, had much reason to celebrate at JET Nightclub at the Mirage on Friday night. The band's second album, 'Beautiful Lie,' recently went platinum and JET Nightclub pulled out all the stops for Jared Leto and band mates to help celebrate.

The normally camera-shy Leto gladly posed for photos with his brother Shannon Leto and other band mates, Tomo Milicivec and Matt Wachter, and then even posed for solo shots. The band members, sitting in an exclusive VIP booth for all to see, were sipping on juice and soda all night while watching friends and colleagues enjoy a typical high-energy Friday night at JET.

Jared, Shannon, Tomo and Matt were all (surprised) and thrilled when a giant cake in the shape of a platinum record adorned with flashing sparklers came their way. In honor of the platinum record achievement, Jean-Philippe Maury of Bellagio created a custom round cake replicating the band's album cover. Jared was so pleased, he was seen giving a 'thumbs up' to the crowd. The unusually happy Leto sat coolly while dozens of groupies attempted to party with him and the rest of the band but he caroused with his own entourage and enjoyed the club's VIP treatment.

Prior to dinner, the group dined at STACK Restaurant & Bar at the Mirage and enjoyed Chef Brian Massie's delicious miso black cod lettuce cups, roasted tomato soup (with mini grilled cheese sandwich) and the seabass. Feeling the restaurant's scene, Leto was grooving to the beats of Justin Timberlake's 'Sexy Back.'
