LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ BWR Public Relations) - Fresh from the studio and eager to hit the road to promote the June 5th release of his upcoming album, Chris Cornell announced select US tour dates beginning on April 6 in Las Vegas, NV at the Vegas Grand Prix (complete itinerary below). For the first time onstage, Cornell will dig into the vault performing songs from his 13-album career including Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave, as well as premiering tracks from his upcoming release Carry On (Suretone/Interscope).

Produced by Grammy award-winning Producer of the Year, Steve Lillywhite, Carry On is the 13th career album for Cornell with 14 tracks including the first single "No Such Thing" (impacting March 26), "Safe and Sound," "Scar On The Sky," "Finally Forever," "Disappearing Act," a cover of Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean," "Ghost," "Arms Around Your Love," "She'll Never Be Your Man," "Killing Birds," "Silence the Voices," "Poison Eye," "Your Soul Today," as well as the Top 10 European smash hit, "You Know My Name," the main title song for Casino Royale, the recent James Bond theatrical release.

Ranked 12th in MTV's "22 Greatest Voices in Music" survey, ahead of such icons as David Bowie, Steven Tyler and Bruce Springsteen, Cornell has been called "the single most dynamic rock and roll force produced by the Grunge Revolution of the early '90s." As the frontman for Soundgarden, he marshaled five studio albums including the groundbreaking SUPERUNKNOWN, which sold more than three million copies and earned two Grammy Awards. His songwriting continued to develop with the mid-Soundgarden side-project, critically acclaimed, eponymously titled release Temple of the Dog, a collective of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden members who formed in tribute to late Mother Love Bone singer Andrew Wood. More recently his tenure as frontman for the rock super- group Audioslave, continued his multi-platinum success and produced the hit singles "Like a Stone" and "Cochise" in the millennium. Cornell's songs have been featured on film soundtracks such as Pump Up the Volume, Wayne's World, True Romance, Feeling Minnesota (a title lifted from one of Cornell's own Soundgarden lyrics), Great Expectations, Mission: Impossible II, Miami Vice, Cameron Crowe's Seattle-based film Singles, and the upcoming BUG. In addition to his work in the music world, Chris Cornell served as the face of the 2006 John Varvatos ad campaign and became a restaurateur with the opening of Black Calavados (BC) in Paris, where he splits his time.
