LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Warner Bros. Records recording star Peter Cincotti, whose highly anticipated new album "East Of Angel Town" is scheduled for an early June release, will be headlining the April 30 Opening Session & Annual Meeting of InSights & Sounds.07, the 49th Annual Convention of the National Association Of Recording Merchandisers (NARM). The 2007 Convention will be held April 29th - May 2nd at the Hilton Chicago.

"NARM is pleased to feature such as exciting young artist at one of our most high-profile events for music buyers," said Jim Donio, President of NARM.

Cincotti, who the New York Times declared "one of the most promising singer-pianists of the next generation," will debut selections from his new CD, which was overseen by multi-Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster with music and lyrics written by Cincotti.

With a gift for combining the old and new, the classic and the modern, Cincotti burst onto the scene at age l9 with his stellar debut album filled with interpretations of Jazz standards. At the ripe old age of 23, after much critical acclaim interpreting the words and music of Cole Porter and the Gershwins, Cincotti has moved ahead to a new creative challenge — a collection of magnificent songs in his very own words, based on his own observations and vivid imagination — songs that explore musical styles that blend Pop, Rock, Blues, Funk and Jazz.

Also during the Opening Session & Annual Meeting, Soul Train's Don Cornelius will accept the NARM Presidential Award for Sustained Executive Achievement. Billboard's Group Editorial Director, Scott McKenszie, will lead the music distribution and label executives in a panel discussion exploring the state of the industry.
