TORONTO, Canada (Top40 Charts/ Skylar Entertainment) - 'There's no sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll in music anymore. We're here to bring it back and we're proud of it. We're not selling out! People are buying in,' grins Bobnoxious singer/guitarist Bob. J. Reid.
Recent winners of Best Metal and Best Rock Act at the London Music Awards, lewd-rockers, Bobnoxious, have spent the past two years blowing away Southern Ontario with their loud guitars, grooving bass and booming drums. Now Bobnoxious is keeping their growing buzz alive by taking their rock on the road this spring from Ontario to BC.
Their must-see stage show comes replete with smashed guitars, blow-up dolls, hot air balloon sized backdrops, confetti cannons, beach balls, bobble heads, drum kits made from trash cans, and questions from notable artists as to, 'how are we supposed to follow that?'
Bobnoxious's latest album Rockaholics The Fun Drinking Game (Wannabe/Fontana North), is a day in the life of a rockaholic with songs like 'Shoulda Been Nice To Me' 'Main Attraction' and of course 'Rockaholics.' Seasoned with sarcasm, served up on a plate of road rage, Bobnoxious delivers to those who are ready to party. The latest single 'Here We Go Again' was recently released to rock radio across Canada.
The song "Big Cannons" off their debut Two Fisted, Twisted, Rock And Roll' was awarded the Number One Party Song by London rock station FM96, and the band is currently featured on the FM96 Box Poll, where bands and their songs duke it out night after night (https://www.fm96.com/station/box_poll.cfm). Bobnoxious's 'Here We Go Again' has recently beaten artists of note including: The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billy Talent, My Chemical Romance, The Muse, Stars of Track and Field, and Priestess
Raucous, gritty and bombastic, it's in-yer-face rock 'n' roll that would make Bon Scott raise his glass again. Bobnoxious features Reid (best known as the lead singer/guitarist for the popular rock band S.F.H and vocalist for one of Canada's most legendary and influential metal bands, Razor), Jeff Bialkowsky (guitar, backing voice), David Wyles (drums, backing voice) and Stan Fountain (bass, backing voice).
With a fan-base that spans generations, Bobnoxious is now playing larger and larger venues and spreading their 'Attitude Checked' message from coast to coast in 2007. Bobnoxious is poised to take Canada by storm.
