For the fourth time, Kings of Leon turned to GPS client, Ethan Johns, to produce their album. The Kings and Ethan Johns proved their royal connection again with this No 1 album following 2005's Aha Shake Heartbreak and 2003's Youth and Young Manhood (both reached No 3 on the U.K. charts). Fans in Great Britain and Ireland immediately throned the southern rockers' latest album, which was recorded entirely in the United States. Ethan Johns recorded and mixed Because Of The Times at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee and Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California. Because Of The Times is also available to U.S. fans, released stateside on RCA April 3, 2007. In the past year Ethan Johns has produced Til The Sun Turns Black for Ray Lamontagne (RCA) and forthcoming releases for Joe Cocker (EMI), Turin Brakes (Virgin Records) and Crowded House (EMI).
