Seattle, WA. (Top40 Charts/ Hopeless Records) - Seattle-based
Amber Pacific will release Truth In Sincerity, their second full-length for Hopeless Records on May 22nd.
Heralded by Alternative Press as one of the most anticipated albums of 2007 the five-year-old band has remained true to its sound, foregoing to jump on any pop-punk bandwagons. But the band's maturation is obvious, enough so that they teamed up with the Seattle Symphony who played strings on much of the album.
Working once again with producer Martin Feveyear (Mark Lanegan, Presidents of the United States of America), the band has crafted a record that is undoubtedly Amber Pacific. "This is who we really are," guitarist/vocalist Will Nutter declares.
Joining the mix is Mike Herrera of MxPx who sings on the track "Runaway." Other standout tracks include "Fall Back Into My Life" which is featured in the recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, as well as the infectious pop-punk anthem "Temporary" and "Follow Your Dreams and Forget the Scene" which was inspired by a relationship the band forged with a fan from the Make-A-Wish Foundation last summer.
It's a well-crafted record by a band that is confident in their sound and ability. No shenanigans, no gimmicks. They're not necessary. Look for Amber Pacific to be on the entire Van's Warped Tour this summer.
Full album streams are available upon request.
