Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Arista Records) - New Arista Nashville hitmaker Jason Michael Carroll earned major acclaim for his self-penned debut single, 'Alyssa Lies,' and the song's powerful portrait of child abuse has now earned Carroll a place among 'America's 100 Best' in the May issue of Reader's Digest. Honored for 'Best Musical Message,' the cover feature celebrates the amazing and extraordinary from all walks of life.

'Alyssa Lies' is from Carroll's hit album, Waitin' in the Country, which debuted at No 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart with the highest unit sales of any new country male artist in the past 15 years.

Now on the airwaves with his second single and first music video, 'Livin' Our Love Song,' Carroll is already an R&R Breaker, with airplay on more than 60% of the country reporting panel and charting at No 36 only one week after the official airplay impact date.
