NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Dangerbird Records) - SEA WOLF's enchanting pop, first revealed on his debut EP, "Get to the River Before It Runs Too Low," has paved the way for the intricate full-length, "Leaves In The River," due September 25 on Dangerbird Records. Escalating from where the former left off, "Leaves" further declares Sea Wolf's arrival.

Alex Brown Church, Sea Wolf's founder and songwriter, tells cryptic tales with warm vocals over intricate arrangements. The cello and guitars weave delicate melodies as the songs crescendo into sophisticated pop songs, blossoming with every note. The first-person narratives are entwined with mystic imagery and displaced confessionals, as this troubadour guides us through ornate musical territory.

Church's original home recordings were passed around amongst friends and eventually made their way into the hands of veteran Seattle producer, Phil Ek (Modest Mouse, Band Of Horses, The Shins), a relationship that helped accelerate Church's goals. Ek added additional production to Church's compositions and it wasn't long after Sea Wolf joined the Dangerbird Records roster. An EP was released to glowing praise, prompting airplay across the country and spins on MTV2's Subterranean. The California natives soon joined long- time friends and label mates SILVERSUN PICKUPS for national dates, cementing their reputation as a revered live act.

While touring, Church was quietly preparing "Leaves In The River." Recorded by Church with help from Ek, Jacquire King (Tom Waits) lent a hand to the mixes, adding a new element to the compositions. Lead EP track, 'You're A Wolf' complete with its chilling cello and guitars, resurfaces on the LP with a slight makeover.

Sea Wolf will accompany Silversun Pickups for additional dates this summer, followed by extensive touring into the fall.
