LA (AP) - Tragedy has hit the Smash Mouth camp. Presley Scott Harwell, the infant son of Smash Mouth singer Steve Harwell and Michelle Laroque, died on Saturday (July 28) at 4:30 a.m. of complications from acute lymphatic leukemia, according to a spokesperson for the band.

The child, under a year old, died in Las Vegas where they live. Smash Mouth, currently in the midst of doing some radio shows and fairs, is canceling dates as they come up.

The Presley Scott Research Foundation for Leukemia has been set up in his memory. Fans wishing to make a donation can send it to the foundation at 1525 Winchester Blvd., San Jose, Calif., 95128.
