NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ AllHipHop PR) - AllHipHop.com (AllHipHop), the No 1 source for "all things Hip-Hop," for nine years has been the No 1 urban website and a top 10 music site across the globe with over 5 million unique visitors a month, announces AllHipHop Week 2007: The Rebirth of Hip-Hop Arts and Culture. This series of events takes place in New York City, birthplace of Hip-Hop, and will serve as a celebration of the spirit, music, and tradition of Hip-Hop culture.

The theme of AllHipHop Week 2007 is the Rebirth of Hip-Hop an obvious choice for AllHipHop.com founders Chuck "Jigsaw" Creekmur and "Grouchy" Greg Watkins. Rebirth refers to this year's change in the Hip-Hop culture and global marketplace. With a new wave of artists emerging and new media and technology to deliver music and entertainment, there is a reawakening of music that is alive and fresh.

September 12th, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Russell Simmons host The Rebirth Kick Off Celebration, an affair catering to the entertainment industry. Launching the public events on Saturday, September 15th, the Annual AllHipHop BBQ Presented by Polo Ground Music / J Records featuring great food, entertainment and celebrities. Sunday, September 16th, The AllHipHop Urban Art Show: Rebirth of ILL at the Nubian Heritage Art Gallery featuring acclaimed artists and graffiti pioneers including works by Heather Hunter and more. Monday September 17th The Rebirth of Fashion: Hear and Now, fashion showcase of urban designers that reflects the reemergence of Hip-Hop in the 90's to the early 2000's, designers include Adidas Originals and Triple 5 Soul, with many celebrity performers. Tuesday, September 18th, AllHipHop joins Kids' Block & Jumpstart's "Read for the Record" to present The Kids Block Party hosted by Wyclef with a live Hip-Hop rendition of this year's campaign book "The Story of Ferdinand." Later that evening, AllHipHop Breeding Ground & Celebrity Rap Battle follows, hosted by N.O.R.E and Fat Man Scoop. Wednesday, September 19th, the Annual Social Lounge, featuring Dr. Cornel West along with Hip-Hop notables discussing current social and political issues that affect the Hip Hop community. On Thursday, September 20th, two power house websites join forces for AllHipHop Presents The Release Featuring Chamillionaire brought to you by MySpace. Bringing AllHipHop Week to a close September 21st, The Rebirth Finale Concert at Nokia Theater featuring Lupe Fiasco, Cassidy and Talib Kweli. Sponsors include American Airlines, Giant Magazine, Pepsi, Atlantic Records, MySpace, iTunes, and Hot 97.

AllHipHop.com has been a household name in music and youth culture for almost a decade. It is the most highly credible resource for Hip-Hop information and now is the leading site for urban lifestyle and culture.
