Mercedes Benz Dealers of Southern California are welcoming The K-EARTH 101 35th Anniversary Concert with Chicago, Doobie Brothers, The Stylistics, War and The Four Tops. September 15th commemorates 35 years of K-EARTH 101 as the
Soundtrack of Southern California.
Doors open at 4 pm. Show starts at 5:10 pm with a Special Surprise Guest. The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater Box Office will open the day of the show at 12 noon and a special release of seats will be available.

K-EARTH 101 has remained one of the most popular radio stations in the entire nation for most of the past 35 years, attracting an average of about one and a half million listeners each week.

Chicago, the legendary rock 'n' roll band with horns, is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary. In the course of their remarkable career, the band has sold 100,000,000 records, netted 20 Top 10 hits, 5 Number One albums, 5 Number One singles and 5 Gold singles.
The Doobie Brothers' mix of rock energy and soulful harmonies has been a live favorite for over thirty years. Their many hits are heard in Southern California on K-EARTH 101 including, "Long Train Runnin'," "China Grove" and "Takin' It To The Streets," and they have netted the group multiple Grammy Awards and several Platinum records.
Interlacing rock, R&B, soul and Latin sounds into their own irresistibly funky style, War's legacy resonates through today's jam band and Rock En Espanol scenes. "Cisco Kid," "Low Rider," and "Why Can't We Be Friends," remain K-EARTH 101 staples.
The Stylistics helped to define the Philly Soul sound with the smooth sophistication of hits like, "You Make Me Feel Brand New," and "You Are Everything." The group enjoyed an amazing run of 12 straight Top Ten smashes.
Motown legends The Four Tops helped shape modern R&B thanks to indelible singles like, "Reach Out I'll Be There," and "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)."
