BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Due to strong demand from fans, including an online petition, Warner Bros. Records will release "Transformers - The Score" - a CD of the instrumental music from this summer's blockbuster live-action robot adventure film "TRANSFORMERS."

None of the film's orchestral music, composed by Steve Jablonsky, who has also composed music for the hit TV series "Desperate Housewives," as well as the films "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Amityville Horror," was included on the official album soundtrack to the film, which was made up of hit songs from Linkin Park, Goo Goo Dolls, Smashing Pumpkins, The Used, HIM and Taking Back Sunday, among others. As a result, fans clamored to hear the orchestral score and an online petition received thousands of signatures.

DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures' "TRANSFORMERS," which was directed by Michael Bay, grossed more than $70 million in the U.S. in its first weekend after opening July 2, 2007. To date, the sci-fi action-adventure flick has grossed almost $314 domestically and close to $700 million worldwide. The official soundtrack, "Transformers: The Album," debuted in the Top 25 on Billboard's pop chart and spawned two Hot 100 hits: The Goo Goo Dolls' "Before It's Too Late" and Smashing Pumpkins' "Doomsday Clock."

"Transformers - The Score" will be available in stores and through all online retailers on October 9th. The track-listing is as follows:
"Autobots"
"Decepticons"
"The All Spark"
"Deciphering The Signal"
"Frenzy"
"Optimus"
"Bumblebee"
"Soccent Attack"
"Sam At The Lake"
"Skorpinok"
"Cybertron"
"Arrival To Earth"
"Whitwicky"
"Downtown Battle"
"Sector 7"
"Bumblebee Captured"
"You're A Soldier Now"
"Sam On The Roof"
"Optimus vs. Megatron"
"No Sacrifice, No Victory"
