Sydney, AU. (Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - British soul singer and songwriter
Joss Stone has recorded a cover of Nat King Cole's classic 1964 ballad "L-O-V-E" for the soundtrack to a new short film for Chanel, entitled Coco Mademoiselle. The film stars Oscar-nominated actress
Keira Knightley and was directed by noted film director Joe Wright. It is the latest advertising campaign for Chanel's Coco
Mademoiselle fragrance, which was launched in 2001 to represent the ever-evolving spirit of the brand's founder Coco Chanel.
The Grammy-Award-winning Stone was personally selected by the international luxury goods company to be the voice of the film's soundtrack because of her soulful voice and modern, sexy spirit.
In March, Stone released her third album, Introducing Joss Stone, which featured the lead single Tell Me 'Bout It. Worldwide, Joss Stone has sold in excess of 7.5 million albums, including 200,000 in Australia alone.
After a sold-out Sydney show earlier this year at the Enmore, and a storming headline spot at the East Coast Blues Festival, Joss Stone returns in December, for 3 intimate East-Coast shows.
Brisbane The Tivoli Wednesday December 5
Sydney Enmore Theatre Friday December 7
