NEW YORK (Elvis Number Ones Website/Top 40 Charts) - Even in death, Elvis Presley proves he still has it, as his 30 #1 Hits debuts at No. 1 in 17 countries this week, including on The US Albums in the U.S.A.

The greatest hits album also bowed at the top spot on charts in the U.K., Canada, France, Australia, Brazil, Spain, Belgium, Argentina, New Zealand, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Chile, Switzerland, Austria, and the United Arab Emirates. Strangely, this is the first Presley album to debut at No. 1 on The US Albums! It sold 500,318 copies in its first week in the U.S.

The chart's top 10 features four other debuts - India.Arie, Voyage to India, No. 6
- Beck, Sea Change, No. 8
- Peter Gabriel, Up, No. 9
- Nas, The Lost Tapes, No. 10.
Filling out the top 10 are the Dixie Chicks (No. 2), Avril Lavigne (No. 3), Disturbed (No. 4), Nelly (No. 5), and Eminem (No. 7). Debuting in the top 20 this week are Pastor Troy's Universal Soldier at No. 13 and the Brown Sugar soundtrack at No. 18.
