Sydney, AU. (Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - Something With Numbers are set to fly to New York to record their third album straight after touring nationally on the Big Day Out. The old saying of "good things come to those who wait" could not be truer of Something With Numbers. After forming in 2002, it wasn't until 2006 when Something With Numbers had their first hit with "Apple Of The Eye (Lay Me Down)" and a Top 40 album with "Perfect Distraction". After the release of the album, the band played over 100 shows promoting the album across the country including the bands biggest headlining show of their career in front of a home crowd of 1300 people at Gosford Leagues Club. They were then invited to tour nationally with Grinspoon as well as spots with Powderfinger/ Silverchair and numerous main stage appearances on every major festival in the country. Since then the band has been keeping a low profile whilst writing for their forthcoming album which is to be their most ambitious to date. But things are about to start heating up for Something With Numbers again with the band playing nationally on the main stage of Big Day Out. They will then be heading to New York City in February to record their new album with US producer Tim OHeir (All American Rejects, Dinosaur Jr, Say Anything). In March the band will have a week off recording to play at the annual SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas - which is the biggest and most prestigious music conference and festival of the year. Something With Numbers are set to break numbers again when they will release their most anticipated album to date in 2008.
