NEW YORK (GNR Fans Website) - Guns N' Roses have added a chunk of dates and an opening act to the North American leg of their Chinese Democracy World Tour.

Mixmaster Mike has been tapped as an opener for the entire tour, which has now expanded by 11 dates, including two-night stands in Las Vegas and Los Angeles on Dec. 27-28 and Jan. 3-4, respectively, according to a spokesperson for Mixmaster Mike. The new dates mostly cover the Western portion of the U.S., which had previously been left off the itinerary, and also include a New Year's Eve stop in San Jose, Calif.

One of the new dates, Nov. 22 in Pittsburgh (Mellon Arena), was originally scheduled for Lexington, Ky. (Rupp Arena). Whether or not that date would be rescheduled was unknown at press time, according to a spokesperson for Clear Channel Entertainment. No reason for the change was given.
The tour, the band's first extensive outing in nine years, kicks off in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Nov. 7.

Here are the new Guns N' Roses dates:

Nov. 22, Pittsburgh, Mellon Arena
Nov. 25, Columbus, Ohio, Nationwide Arena
Nov. 30, London, Ontario, John Labatt Centre
Dec. 21, Albuquerque, N.M., Tingley Coliseum
Dec. 22, Phoenix, American West Arena
Dec. 27-28, Las Vegas, The Joint
