LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Interscope Records) - Miami, Florida-based rockers Black Tide have made a huge splash on the Billboard charts with their debut album, Light From Above, selling over 11,300 units in its first week. The album, released on Interscope Records, debuted at No 73 on the Billboard Top 200.

Black Tide will also be playing LIVE on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live show this Thursday, March 27. The episode airs Thursday night at 12:05AM (on March 28). Black Tide will be performing the album's first single, "Shockwave." The brand-new video for "Shockwave" - directed by Travis Kopach (Buckcherry, Panic at the Disco) - is available at https://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1568964&vid=216310.

After busting onto the scene last summer as main stage openers on Ozzfest 2007, Black Tide has been touring non-stop in support of Light From Above, playing with such reputable and established acts as Avenged Sevenfold, Chimaira, and All That Remains. Black Tide has also secured a spot on this summer's Rockstar MAYHEM Festival tour, which also features headliners Slipknot, Disturbed, Mastodon, and Dragonforce.
