Sydney, AU. (Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - There was a time when
James Brown wore the mantle of 'the hardest working man in show biz.' Well, now that the Godfather of Soul is no longer with us he's apparently handed over his title to the multi-talented singer, songwriter, actor and entertainer
Sebastian Bach, the original voice of Skid Row and star of VH1's 'Supergroup'.
While Sebastian Bach may be best-known for selling some 20-million albums with his former band Skid Row, he has proven to be far more than a just a multi-Platinum rock star with great hair. Over the past several years, he has broadened his career to include episodic television, stints on Broadway and national touring companies, and an ongoing relationship with MTV/VH1 that has included his own No 1-rated television series and this summer's runaway hit, 'Celebrity Rap Superstar.'
Heavy metal fans get ready to blast off! Tickets on sale on Monday 7th April.
Sebastian Bach's concert will feature the hits which made Skid Row hard rock icons hits that include '18 And Life', 'I Remember You', 'Youth Gone Wild' and tracks from Billboard's No.1 debut hard rock album 'Slave To The Grind'. He also recorded the Alice Cooper hit 'Schools Out' for the smash hit film 'Scream'.
In November 2007, EMI released Sebastian Bach's new solo album 'Angel Down', his first recording since his days fronting 90's hard rock band, Skid Row. Guns N' Roses front man, Axl Rose, features on three of the album tracks including first single '(Love Is A) Bitchslap' and a cover of the Aerosmith classic 'Back In The Saddle'. Axl's 'Angel Down' tracks are his first official recordings to be released, since Guns N' Roses 1993 album, 'The Spaghetti Incident'.
The two rock icons recently toured together in Australia, with Sebastian as support for Guns N' Roses. A performance highlight was Sebastian's appearance on stage with Axl & Co, for "My Michelle".
