TORONTO, Canada (Top40 Charts/ Black Honey Records) - New Canadian artist KG releases her debut album entitled 'The Art of Love' April 2008. The music of this former South African Idol echoes the likes of Marvin Gaye, Lauryn Hill and John Mayer. KG is a 21 year old singer, musician, producer and songwriter based in Toronto, already hailed as the next Alicia Keys. Take one listen to her music and you'll soon understand why her songs transcend genre definitions and age barriers; she speaks straight to the human soul.

KG performs in Toronto and surrounding areas, and is building a buzz over her imminent EP release titled 'The Art of Love' featuring her single 'In Love' available April 2008 from selected locations and online digital distribution stores e.g. iTunes May 2008 . Her sound is a refreshing mix of R&B/Hip-Hop Soul with a unique 'singer-songwriter twist.' Recent highlights include performing at Toronto's acclaimed 'Honey Jam', the former stomping grounds of fellow Canuck Nelly Furtado.

At Honey Jam 2007, she wowed audiences and even impressed fellow Canuck Jully Black. She has performed for YWCA, and Loretto College's 'Give Peace a Dance'. And most recently she participated in the USA World Showcase where she made the top 20 out of over 40,000 auditions. The future looks bright for this young international star.
