Nashville (News) - Princess Diana may be gone, but her dedication to eliminating landmines lives due to Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Nanci Griffith, Bruce Cockburn, and John Prine. The artists have been confirmed to come together in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 20 for the Acoustic Concert for a Landmine Free World at the capital's Warner Theater. The high-profile singer-songwriters will share the stage for an evening of both songs and stories, and are expected to welcome some yet-to-be announced GRAMMY winners to join them onstage to support the landmine cause. Tickets go on sale this Saturday (Aug. 4) at the Warner Theater Box and at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Tower Records, Kemp Mill Music, and Hecht's stores. For PhoneCharge, please call (301) 808-6900 or (703) 573-SEAT. The concert is a part of a national awareness campaign for the global landmine crisis, which will also include concerts in Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New York in December.
