(Top40 Charts/ EMI MUSIC Australia) - Arctic Monkeys mainman Alex Turner has scored his third UK Number One album this week as his side project The Last Shadow Puppets reached the summit with their debut 'The Age Of The Understatement' album. Locally, the album has debuted at No 30 on the Motorola ARIA album chart today. Digitally, the album hit No 1 on the iTunes alternative album chart and No 15 on the iTunes Top 100 album chart. It's the third year running Turner has made the top - in 2006 he got there with the Monkeys' debut LP 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not', while in 2007 the group's follow-up 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' also took pole position. Turner's record with pal Miles Kane of The Rascals took over the Number One position from The Kooks' second LP 'Konk'. The album 'The Age Of The Understatement' available now
