NEW YORK (RnB magazine) - Rapper-actor Ice Cube's first four classic albums - Amerikkka's Most Wanted, Death Certificate, Lethal Injection, and The Predator - will be reissued on February 25. All four sets will now include new bonus tracks. In addition, a new DVD titled Ice Cube: The Video Collection, which comprises the rapper's first 15 videos, is also set for release.
In terms of additional material, 1990's platinum-certified AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted will now include tracks from Kill At Will, an EP that was also originally released in 1990.
The platinum-certified 1991 album Death Certificate will include "How To Survive In South Central," which was originally only available on the Boyz In the Hood soundtrack.
The Predator, a double-platinum set that was released in 1992, will include four new bonus tracks, including remixes of "Check Yo Self," and "It Was A Good Day" as well as "24 With An L" and "U Ain't Gonna Take My Life."
1993's platinum Lethal Injection will include four remixes: "You Know How We Do It," "Lil Ass Gee," and two versions of "What Can I Do," one of which is a previously unreleased remix by Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest.
In related news, Friday After Next, the latest installment in the Friday movie series, opens Friday (November 22). The film stars Ice Cube, Mike Epps, Clifton Powell, John Witherspoon, Don "D.C." Curry, and Anna Maria Horsford. The film was directed by Marcus Raboy.
