Bellamy Brothers have just released the 50th album of their incredible career, Number One Hits. The CD is being released through Curb Records/
Bellamy Brothers Records and features such mega-hits as, 'Let Your Love Flow,' 'If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me,' 'Red Neck Girl,' 'Kids Of The Baby Boom,' and 'Too Much Is Not Enough,' which is a duet with the Forrester Sisters.
In conjunction with the new project, The Bellamy Brothers will kick-off their 'Number Ones' tour in Kansas City , MO on June 13th and will continue through 2008 and 2009. There are also two international legs of the tour in June and August and will take the Bellamy Brothers to Germany , Switzerland , Ireland , Sweden and Norway . The brother duo will be performing all their No 1 hits, along with many of their Top Ten hits and other favorites from their 55 charted records.
Howard and David Bellamy have also been busy appearing on several RFD-TV shows such as American Rancher that aired on April 7, taped Cowboy Church June 8th, will tape Crook & Chase on June 18 and appear live with Ralph Emery on July 28. On that same day, The Bellamy Brothers will also perform on Nashville 's Fox 17 'Tennessee Mornings.'
Howard and David Bellamy were raised in Florida and began their musical journey during their childhoods. Without any formal training, they mastered several instruments and in college started playing paid gigs.
In 1973, David Bellamy's song, 'Spiders and Snakes,' became a top 5 hit for Jim Stafford and went on to sell three million copies. David and Howard signed with Curb/Warner Bros. in 1975 and became The Bellamy Brothers. Their first hit was 'Let Your Love Flow,' followed by the Grammy-winning 'If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me), 'You Ain't Just Whistlin' Dixie,' 'Kids of the Baby Boom,' 'For All the Wrong Reasons,' and 'Old Hippie.'
The Bellamy Brothers have garnered more nominations than any other artist in the Duo Category for the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Awards.
They also received their first Gospel Music Awards nominations this year with their debut Chris tian project, Jesus Is Coming. They were nominated for Country Album and Country Recorded Song ('Drug Problem').
