MONTREAL, Canada (Top40 Charts/ October Sky Official Website) - On June 6th 2008, October Sky reached the No 4 spot of the top 5 most requested videos on the Musique Plus program, 'Plus sur Commande' (Video on Demand) for their music video 'Hit the Ground'. In a follow up to this independent success, October Sky will be appearing in a live interview on MusiquePlus 'Plus sur Commande' (Video on Demand) this Thursday June 26, 2008 at 5pm. Tune in and watch as one of Montreal's most exceptional indie rock bands will be seen and heard with their latest music video 'Hit The Ground'.

"We have received so much support from our fans for this video, and we're just going to continue working hard until we get to No 1 for them' says bassist Andrew Walker.
This milestone for this Montreal band could not have been any sweeter, having topped Madonna and Justin Timberlake's video for their song '4 Minutes'.

'Our director Martin-Phillipe Tremblay, producer Nicholas de Montigny and the rest of the crew were a huge part of the success of the video. Their talent, hard work, and creativity made it a blast to work with them. The energy from the crew and Martin-Phillipe's original concept really made the difference in this video, for me, from the artistic side and the overall qualit.!!" Says Walker.

'Hit the Ground' is the first single and music video off October Sky's full-length album 'Hell Isn't My Home', scheduled for release in stores across Canada this September. The band recently posted two new live videos of their recent packed show at the Dell'Arte in Montreal.

An uplifting adventure, October Sky has the power to propel explosive lights and sound with an interactive spectacle over airwaves of unique creativity. With strong comparison to Muse, Radiohead & Coldplay, but with an edge to make people jump off their feet and experience the higher limits of musicianship.

October Sky's strengths lie in their determination and hard work, everything they have accomplished thus far has been all self-produced. Their live shows are not comparable to many indie bands; they take great pride in self-producing high quality performance shows to crowds of 500 fans in their hometown of Montreal.

2008 has been a busy year, with their soon to be released album 'Hell Isn't My Home' in September 2008 accompanied with the support of their music video "Hit the Ground". Their second music video for "Hell Isn't My Home" is already in post-production and will be released later this year. October Sky's 'Hell Isn't My Home' Canadian & US tour is set to kick off in September, seeing them tour extensively from coast to coast.
