Keith Anderson Launches 'Somebody Needs A Hug' Website

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Columbia Nashville Records) - Columbia Nashville's Keith Anderson sure knows hugs, and now with the launch of his "Somebody Needs A Hug" website - www.somebodyneedsahug.com - anyone can send one of Anderson's famous bear hugs to friends, co-workers or loved ones that are having a bad day. Not only will recipients get a virtual hug, but they'll also see an exclusive, live, acoustic version of his song, "Somebody Needs A Hug," from his new album, C'MON!.

Written by Anderson, Bob DiPiero and David Lee Murphy, this fun, light-hearted track is all about hugs. Like DiPiero, who grew up with a large Italian family, Anderson's family also loved to hug. "Now, 'XXL' was a true story," Anderson says, of the super-sized track from his Gold debut, Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll. "I have several large aunts and uncles... who weigh about 300 and 400 pounds. At a very early age, I learned to either hug back or be crushed," he laughs.

Anderson is open-armed and ready for a big hug tomorrow - Tuesday, August 5 - when his sophomore disc, C'MON!, is released. He is currently on the road in support of his latest record, "I Still Miss You," which is his fastest rising and highest charted single to date, landing at the No. 6 spot this week on the country singles charts.
