New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Cielo) - The temperatures might be starting to dip outside on the streets of Manhattan, but inside Cielo October is another month to raise the thermostat, ignite the passion and marvel at the wealth of international talent lined up to entertain, educate and enthrall.

The calm before the storm arrives in the youthful and soulful shape of The Martinez Brothers. The siblings from the Bronx made a lasting impression when they played Cielo in April, and return as Dance.Here.Now guests on October 2nd. Discovered by Dennis Ferrer, teenage phenoms Chris & Steve made their recording debut last year on his Objektivity label, and haven't looked back since. But remember: if you're gonna buy them a drink make sure it's a soda!

Currently putting the finishing touches to a new Way Out West album for release in the new year, Made Event presents Nick Warren on Friday 3rd as part of his Global Underground world tour. Warren's one of the leading lights in the UK prog-scene flying the flag alongside contemporaries Sasha, Digweed and Seaman. Selecting the Peruvian capital Lima for his latest release in the legendary GU city series, Warren compiles an entirely exclusive track list to capture the sound and ambience of this historic former Incan city. Based around the Global Underground event captured in the album's beautiful stylized artwork, the 'GU35 Lima' mix is a sonic missile - simple, direct, and deadly.

Things heat up on Sunday 5th as Robbi Presents Two Nations featuring Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales and Wayne Williams. Gonzalez, one half of the legendary Masters At Work production team, needs little by way of introduction. With partner and our Roots resident Louie Vega, their unique combination of hip-house-jazz style have made them originators in a sound that has been often imitated yet rarely successfully duplicated. Together they've remixed a veritable who's who, while as producers in their own right, have crafted some of the most ground-breaking singles in dance music history ('The Nervous Track', 'It's Alright, I Feel It' and 'You Can Do It). Partnered on the night with fellow New Yorker Wayne Williams, the man nicknamed the Ambassador Of House, has another impressive title to his name: Senior VP of A&R at Jive Records. Since the '90s Williams has co-produced groundbreaking singles for Mr Lee, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, R. Kelly and even Justin Timberlake.

Synonymous with the techno sound of Sweden, on Thursday 9th, Made Event presents the Drumcode Tour featuring techno giant Adam Beyer and special guest Joel Mull. Drumcode, the Stockholm-based label managed by Beyer, arrives at Cielo fresh from dates in Japan, Korea, Ibiza, Madrid, Amsterdam and Toronto - underscoring the true global presence of the label and producer. One of the new breed of electronica dons, Beyer is the epitome of cosmopolitan cool and a disciple of incessant tech-house and burbling progressive beats. Joel Mull started traveling around the globe more than a decade ago and quickly made himself well known as the "Swedish Techno Soul" of the electronic world. Both Mull and Beyer are long time friends, colleagues, and collaborators and Mull has had a residency spot on the "Drumcode" label parties that Adam has been taking on the road over the past six years.

Keeping with the European theme the following night, Friday 10th, Luca Bacchetti, one of Italy's leading tech-house DJs, graces the decks for Basic NYC. In recent months Bacchetti has remixed Danny Tenaglia's 'Dance Space' and tracks for a handful of cutting edge labels including Dubfire's burgeoning Sci+Tec imprint, SAW, Viva and Tenax. While his incendiary DJ sets can be heard at destinations as far and wide as Florence, Berlin and Tokyo with fans numbering Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Steve Lawler and Satoshi Tomiie. Bacchetti's stature recognized earlier this year when he was nominated for a Beatport Music Award in the Best Minimal Artist category.

And talking of Dubfire and his burgeoning Sci+Tec, the Deep Dish man headlines Cielo on Tuesday 14th. The Grammy Award winner has always been at the cutting edge of dance, be it blending twisted beats, rocky guitar riffs or percolating synth-driven basslines. The uncompromising producer has been setting trends since the mid-'90s, while his DJ sets equally fuse their trademark crystalline electronica sound with oddball percussion to plough an eccentric furrow with considerable style.

Contender for highlight of the month is Dance.Here.Now presenting the Swedish House Mafia on Thursday, 16th. Featuring two of the biggest DJ and most in demand producers on circuit, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso. The duo and childhood friends from Stockholm have been collaborating for many years under a variety of guises, but it's as remixers that the pair has delivered some of the biggest and best loved club makeovers in recent years. This translating into their DJ sets that are generally regarded as a sonic master class fuelled by high-octane grooves, electro-etched beats, and angst twisted basslines and punked up funky hooks. A night not to be missed with advance tickets available from Danceherenowny.com

Another essential date for the diary comes on Saturday 18th when the White Island sound comes to Manhattan Island for El Cielo Ibiza Vs. Cielo NYC. Cielo residents Nicolas Matar and Willie Graff need little by way of introduction, with Graff making his annual pilgrimage to Ibiza for his summer residency at Pacha. Ibiza favorite son, DJ Pippi, joins them on what's set to be a magical night of soulful house, Latin-infused grooves, Mediterranean beats and spiritual messages. Celebrating his 25th year on the island, Pippi is generally regarded as the DJ's DJ and often mentioned in dispatches alongside such legendary figures as Larry Levan, and Frankie Knuckles. If you enjoy the night you own a slice by picking up a copy Cielo's latest compilation 'Cinco'. Out now on Tommy Boy Records and mixed by Nicolas and Willie, Update magazine called it: "a sleek, sexy, soul-soothing collection... in a time where we're increasingly being told to find new ways to let off stream from the riggers of city living, this comes as the ideal tonic."

Roger Sanchez is as busy clocking up the international DJ air miles as he's ever been. Any given week you'll find him spinning in Tokyo, Ibiza, Sydney, London, or on Tuesday 21st, in New York as headliner of Secret Soul Sessions. In between running his Stealth label, releasing material as a chart-topping artist, and picking up Grammy Awards for his remixes, the former B-Boy from Queens does what he does best behind the decks. Come and hear for yourself why the S-Man has consistently been voted one top DJs in the world for over a decade.

Cielo Presents an essential double-header on Thursday 23rd as Berlin-based electro giants M.A.N.D.Y. go head-to-head with London's eclectic pioneer, James Lavelle. Patrick Bodmer & Philipp Jung from the German group are also co-founders of Get Physical label and were responsible for the 2005 club smash "Body Language", voted 'Ibiza Track of the Season'. Their particular blend of electro is chewier and more fun then most, employing tuneful and obscure reference points alongside unadulterated oddball crystalline electronica, helping propel them to an echelon all of their own. It's also impossible to do James Lavelle's resume justice in just a few lines. The mastermind behind the eclectically diverse Mo' Wax label, he also produced a plethora of acclaimed artists covering trip-hop, breakbeat and house genres working with everyone from Massive Attack and UNKLE to Richard Ashcroft and Thom Yorke. Today he scores movie soundtracks, holds a residency at Fabric in London, and if you come along and hear for yourself, will blow your mind with his diverse and highly entertaining DJ sets.

Israeli DJ, producer, label manager, Shlomi Aber delivers his unique blend of tech-etched house to Cielo on Friday, 24th. In a little over two years the Tel Aviv-based owner of Be As One Records has made an impact almost second-to-none. The reason is simple: his genre-defying creations and appreciation has seen his fan base swell to the sort of status usually reserved for superstar DJs with supporters numbering Carl Craig, Pete Tong, John Digweed, and Francois K. Aber's intoxicating rush of synthesized electronica and taut minimal techno combine to create melancholic soundscapes of deep pads in juxtapose to the hypnotic grooves. Little wonder DJ mag said: "Shlomi's sets are full with warm and unique sounds that makes you feel like you are going back to the better days of music... you can just feel the magic in the air."

Gui Boratto, the thirty-something producer, musician and composer from Sao Paulo, Brazil, graces the decks on Tuesday, 28th for Basic NYC. Boratto has been described as "a sleight-of-speed master", in the way he calls on big, trancey sounds and sets up enough space between them to let elision create arrangements on their own terms. His debut artist album, 'Chromophobia', a testimony to his testosterone fuelled techno sound that could best be described as a seat-of-your-pants ride down a German autobahn in a convertible during a lightening strike. His DJ sets are equally full of raw emotion, energy, pumped up beats and hooks that grab you onto the dancefloor all night long.
