By late afternoon of that day, she was declared "Austin's first YouTube superstar" by Austin American-Statesman music critic Michael Corcoran. Later that evening, Suzanna Choffel's band performed to an overflowing crowd at The Living Room in New York City, showcasing at CMJ Music Marathon 2008. The video has continued to grow in popularity; as of 2 pm CST October 27, the number of views for the "Raincloud" video had jumped to over 420,000.
