NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) - "I'm Yours," the Grammy Award-nominated hit single from Atlantic recording artist Jason Mraz, has reached No 1 at CHR/Top 40 radio outlets nationwide. The track's extraordinary success comes 10 months after its initial arrival at Triple A radio last February. Since then, "I'm Yours" has topped the charts at both Triple A and Hot AC, where it has held strong at No 1 for a sensational nine weeks and counting.

Mraz celebrated the No 1 triumph of "I'm Yours" with a nationally televised performance this morning on ABC's "Live with Regis and Kelly." This follows Jason's recent television appearances on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman," and the nationally syndicated "Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Last week saw the San Diego-based tunesmith honored with a trio of Grammy Award nominations, including a prestigious "Song of the Year" nod for "I'm Yours." The song also was named in the "Best Male Pop Vocal Performance" category, while Mraz's acclaimed new album, "WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS." was acknowledged for "Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical" (marking the work of Dyre Gormsen and Tony Maserati).

In addition to its No 1 success here in the United States, "I'm Yours" has proven an international radio blockbuster, with chart-topping runs in Sweden, Indonesia, Malaysia, France, Australia, and Norway, as well as top 3 success in Israel, Taiwan, Japan, Italy, and the Netherlands. What's more, "I'm Yours" has been a top 10 favorite in Germany, Thailand, Switzerland, and Ecuador.

The video for "I'm Yours" is currently in "Extra Large" rotation at VH1, as well as an airplay favorite on MTV Hits, FUSE, and The N. "I'm Yours," which caused an online commotion upon its initial release, can now be found in thousands of user-generated videos from more than 25 countries, with more than 40 million views on YouTube.

"I'm Yours" has already received double platinum certification from the RIAA for sales exceeding 2 million. The single has also been awarded with a variety of certifications around the globe, including triple platinum status in Norway, platinum in Australia, and gold in both Sweden and Austria.

Furthermore, "WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS." has earned a range of international certifications. Along with gold certification here in the U.S., the album has received platinum awards in Australia and Korea, along with gold records in Norway, Sweden, and Singapore.

"WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS." debuted at No 3 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 album chart upon its May release. A special limited edition of the album followed in November, including two audio CDs and a DVD. The first enhanced CD features the full album audio. The second CD consists of all three EPs issued prior to the full length release, each including unique versions of various album tracks: "WE SING," "WE DANCE," and "WE STEAL THINGS." The DVD features an hour-long live concert with Jason and his full band recorded at Highline Ballroom in New York City earlier this year plus a 30-minute documentary entitled "Here We Are." The limited edition "WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS." also contains a 20-page book with lyrics to all songs.

A vital and vibrant live performer, Mraz has just wrapped a major North American tour, a trek which included shows at New York's famed Radio City Music Hall, as well as his first hometown date in three years, at San Diego State University's Open Air Theatre. Next on his itinerary is an eagerly anticipated world tour, set to kick off in February 2009, with stops slated for Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

In other news, this week saw Mraz presenting an exhibition of his photography, featured in the recently released book, "a thousand things," at New York's Charles Cowles Gallery. Jason's first book of photography, the collection features 54 original photographs, including several self-portraits, all taken with Mraz's poetic and sardonic eye. All photos were taken with a classic Polaroid Instant Camera using film that, as Jason notes, might be "found at your local drug or general store." "a thousand things" also includes a foreword by the legendary Graham Nash.

In accordance with Mraz's wishes, "a thousand things" has been printed on FSC & ISO certified woodfree paper. The cover stock is FSC certified as well, fully recyclable, and chlorine-free. All printing has been done with soy-based inks. Only environmentally harmless glues were used in the binding process. All printing films, plates, and waste paper will be recycled.

Mraz's first set of all-new material in nearly three years, "WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS." was produced by Martin Terefe, known for his work with KT Tunstall, Ron Sexsmith, and James Morrison. The album sees Mraz continuing to tread his own distinctive artistic path, melding a variegated musical tapestry with passionate, personal lyricism. Among the highlights are collaborations with British tunesmith James Morrison and singer/songwriter Colbie Caillat.

"WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS." follows Mraz's two previous studio releases: 2002's RIAA platinum-certified breakthrough, "WAITING FOR MY ROCKET TO COME," and 2005's "MR. A-Z," which debuted at No 5 on the Billboard 200. Mraz has also released a series of concert recordings, including 2004's "TONIGHT, NOT AGAIN: JASON MRAZ LIVE AT THE EAGLES BALLROOM" and 2006's digital-only release, "SELECTIONS FOR FRIENDS."
