Atlanta, GA. (Top40 Charts/ Society of St. Vincent de Paul) - International concert pianist Enrique Chia will be joined by his orchestra on Sunday, March 22, 2009 in a concert to benefit the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Atlanta Council (Society), a non-profit that provides financial, material, educational and spiritual support to help those in need achieve self-sufficiency; regardless of faith or background.

In the "Piano of the Americas Concert" Enrique Chia will perform the most beautiful music that transcend our continent. Attendees will be treated to the tango, Afro-Cuban rhythms, salsa and romantic boleros, pop classics, Broadway musical favorites and Irish and Italian popular melodies.

Chia's music career began with an enthusiastically received first music release in Miami. This led to other recordings and collaborations with Grammy-award winning musicians such as Israel "Cachao" Lopez, creator of the mambo and celebrated Latina singers Olga Guillot and Libertad Lamarque. Today, Chia has more than 42 CDs to his credit and performs regularly in Mexico, Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Peru. In 2008, Chia was presented with an Emmy award. He was also recently presented with the prestigious Casandra International Award and nominated for a Grammy.

Proceeds from the event will help fund educational programs offered by the Society such as English as a Second Language and GED Preparation.

The concert will be held at the Atlanta Symphony Hall on Sunday, March 22, 2009 and will begin at 4 p.m. Ticket prices range from $25 per person to $125 per person for VIP tickets which will include an exclusive post-concert reception with Enrique Chia.
