He has broken records for both sales and concert attendance throughout the 1990s - selling in excess of 113 million albums and singles! He's won 2 Grammy Awards, 17 American Music Awards and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2002.

Brooks is listed as one of the best-selling artists of all time in America - 2nd to only The Beatles! He has also released 6 albums (4 included in this series) that have achieved Diamond Status - selling over 10 million copies each.

Now, Sony has reissued a remastered series of 8 albums, all of which were extraordinarily successful, both commercially and artistically.

Included are his debut self-titled album which delivered his debut No. 1 single 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' and Garth's personal favourite 'The Dance'. This and the other seven albums will be available at mid price. Please read on for further details:

This is Garth's first album, it contains his first ever No 1 single 'If Tomorrow Never Comes' and has been certified 10x Multi Platinum, peaking in the US Country charts at No 2. Brooks has claimed that of all the songs he has recorded, 'The Dance' is his favorite. Garth also went on to say 'That first album is always a big one for any artist and I, without trying to sound egotistical, I'm very proud of my first one'.

No Fences was Garth's first No 1 Album, topping the Country charts in 1990. A 17x Multi-Platinum record; No Fences went on to become 7x Platinum in Canada. No Fences had a total of 4 No 1 singles; 'Friends in Low Places', 'Unanswered Prayers', 'Two Of A Kind', 'Workin' On A Full House' and 'The Thunder Rolls'. As of 2006, the album has grossed over 20,000,000 world wide sales. The album remained in the US charts for over 5 years.

The record was Garth's first record to debut at No 1 on both American Pop and Country charts. The RIAA awarded the record 14x Platinum, According to Nielsen Soundscan, this is his best-selling album in the United States, with 9,570,000 copies sold at the time. The album contained 3 No 1 singles; 'Shameless', 'What she's doing Now' and 'The River'. To date, 'Ropin' the Wind' has grossed over 14 million sales as of his sales statistic review in 2006.

Certified 9x Platinum, the record was to debut at No 1 in Pop and Country charts. 2 No 1 singles 'Somewhere Other Than The Night' and 'That Summer'. This was to be Garth's UK breakthrough, the album charted at No 1 in the Country chart. Just a week after release, an estimated 405,000 copies had been sold. The album was originally shipped in 5,000,000 copies, the largest ever shipping mass of it's time � they sold out.

After the album release, it became an overseas hit, charting in the top 10 in the UK, prior to its release. This was due to international imports. It was believed to be damage on sales when the album was released, however, it charted at No 2 in the pop charts and No 1 in the country charts in the UK. It has achieved 8x platinum success and is the highest ranking album of Garth's catalogue.

A high seller for Garth, the album was to become a 7x Platinum record, topping the US country record and charting at No 2 in the pop charts. Another strong selling record in the UK, it came in at No 22 in the charts. The record had 2 No 1 singles; 'She's Every Woman' and 'The Beaches of Cheyenne'. Within 3 months of the release date, an estimated 3,000,000 copies had been sold. Fresh Horses was also had 8 songs ranked in the country charts at any one time, the highest record to date for any chart.

Sevens was to be Garth's 4th album to achieve over 10 million sales. The record spent several months atop of the UK country album chart and branched into the pop rankings too. It peaked at No 1 on both American pop and country charts respectively. 777,777 editions were sold in North America with a gold seal to denote it's 1'se edition status, these were only sold on North America and Canada, although the Canadian edition had a golden maple leaf. The duet with Trisha Yearwood won a Grammy for 'Best Country Collaboration'.

After a 4 year gap, Garth released this album to a warm reception, topping the pop and country charts once more and peaking at No 4 in the Canadian charts. With sales at over 5,000,000 Scarecrow was Garth's last album, his retirement came shortly after this album. It was named as the Best Selling Album on 2002 at the Canadian Music Association Awards.
