New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - If you've ever wondered what it's like to party on Toubab Krewe's tour bus after a show, now you'll know. MySpace Music is exposing the Asheville, NC instrumental quintet to millions of music listeners through an exclusive 'Celebrity Playlist' feature. Toubab will bring the dance party straight to your desktop through their "After-Hours Dance Party Playlist," featured on the MySpace Music page here:
https://music.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music.celebritypromolinktext

MySpace Music featured playlists are a tool for artists to express what music inspires them, introduce fans to new music and overall connect with their MySpace friends.

Anyone who's heard Toubab Krewe's 'Live at the Orange Peel' or seen them live, knows their influences vary as widely as the distance from their hometown in Buncombe County, NC, to Mali's Badala. The playlist features infectiously danceable world music artists like Manu Chao, Toumani Diabate's Symmetric Orchestra, Petit Adama, and Tinariwen, but also includes some of America's party favorites like Lil' Wayne, Thee Oh Sees, and John Legend with Andre 3000.

Toubab Krewe just added new tour dates in the Midwest, including Minneapolis and Chicago. The CD hits stores on March 10th.

About Toubab Krewe:
The instrumental quintet's five members, childhood friends and long-term musical collaborators who joined up in 2005, have spent extended periods studying with musical luminaries in Mali, Ivory Coast, and Guinea and learning traditional instruments such as the kora (a 21-string harp) and the kamel ngoni (a lute).

'Live At The Orange Peel' features eight previously unreleased tracks, including collaborations with legendary spoken-word artist Umar Bin Hassan of The Last Poets and fiddler Rayna Gellert.
