NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) - Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording group The Cab has announced a major North American tour schedule, set to keep the Las Vegas-based band on the road through late April. First up is a series of shows alongside We The Kings, kicking off February 6th at Burlington, Vermont's Higher Ground and then continuing through early March (see attached itinerary). The multi-artist bill will also feature The Maine, VersaEmerge, There For Tomorrow.

The Cab - whose breakthrough debut album, "WHISPER WAR," arrived at No 1 on Billboard's "Top Heatseekers" chart upon its 2008 release - will then be among the star-studded line-up traveling the country as part of the second annual Bamboozle Roadshow, sharing the bill with such bands as We The Kings, Forever The Sickest Kids, Mercy Mercedes, and NeverShoutNever! The dates begin on April 5th at Tucson, Arizona's Rialto Theatre and run through an April 30th finale at the Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale, New York.

The band will warm up for the Bamboozle Roadshow by taking part in the Bamboozle Left 2009, set for April 4th at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California. The Cab will be among the top acts at the annual festival, joining fellow Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording group Cobra Starship, as well as All Time Low, Senses Fail, and the Get Up Kids. The Cab - named by Alternative Press readers to 2008's "Most Underrated New Artist" list - is currently wrapping up a "Hello, My Name Is..." promo tour of Hot Topic stores across the nation through the end of January. The nearly non-stop tour schedule comes as The Cab's latest single, "Bounce," begins to light up CHR/Top 40 radio outlets nationwide. The track's companion video has also received rotation play at mtvU, MTV Hits, and FUSE.

Produced by Matt Squire (Cute Is What We Aim For, All Time Low), with additional production by Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump, "WHISPER WAR" was praised for its fresh sound and vision, with Alternative Press declaring The Cab to be one of the "100 Bands You Need To Know" in its influential yearly round-up. "The Cab's slick dance-rock sound has already scored a dedicated following," hailed RollingStone.com. The Las Vegas Review-Journal affirmed "The Cab's bright-eyed piano pop is so breathless," while MTV.com decreed The Cab to be "one of the artists that we think you'll be hearing big things from in the coming months."

The Cab spent much of 2008 on the road, including the hugely successful "Rock Band Live" tour alongside labelmates Panic At The Disco (whose personal recommendation led to the band's signing to Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen). In addition, the band has shared stages with We The Kings, Forever The Sickest Kids, Metro Station, and fellow labelmates Cobra Starship and The Hush Sound.
