New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Irish indie band Bell X1 utilizes an army of synthesizers on their new album and creative high water mark 'Blue Lights on the Runway.' Singer Paul Noonan said, "I think the beats and synths are the core of the drama of the record, the theatre of it. The fake fur coat and no knickers." Noonan continues, "the basic premise of the record was for it to be made up of songs that could stand up and make sense if delivered with a single voice and instrument, but that we would dress them in beats and noises from boxes." To that end, the band employed a Casio DG20 Digital guitar, a Korg MS2000, a MicroKorg, along with various software synths and samplers like FM7, Reason, and Kontakt, to complement the band's trademark melodic songs, tense rhythms, and Noonan's vivid, sharp lyrics. For the next couple of weeks only, Bell X1 will be offering a select number of limited edition fan packs featuring a special t-shirt, high quality LP, unreleased mp3s, oversized high resolution poster, green friendly canvas tote bag, and more, available here [https://www.bellx1.com].
