EMERYVILLE, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Penton Media) - Remix Hotel Miami announces the addition of Austrian electronic all-stars Tosca and members of legendary Detroit techno collective Underground Resistance to its daily schedule of technology programming at the National Hotel in South Beach March 26-29, 2009. Presented by Numark and Beatport, Remix Hotel Miami will also feature master classes in Ableton Live, Apple Logic and Propellerhead Reason among others. In addition, Beatport has added to its daily Beatport Pool Party DJ lineup.

Open from 12 to 10 p.m. daily, Remix Hotel Miami will feature exclusive technology hours (12-3 p.m.) focusing on the latest music production technology and techniques, master class programming, expert panels and more. A four-day $75 All Access pass grants admission to these exclusive hours (Thursday, March 26-Saturday, March 28), as well the daily Beatport Pool Parties (3-10 p.m., Thursday, March 26-Sunday, March 29).

Tosca, the Vienna-based duo of Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber, will stop by Remix Hotel Miami for an exclusive Q&A about the production behind their new album, No Hassle. This special artist session happens Friday, March 27 at 2 p.m. in the Martini Room and will be Tosca's only stop in Miami during the WMC.

In addition, Underground Resistance will conduct a series of master classes. UR's Mark Flash will show off the brand-new Numark NS7 performance controller with Serato Itch. In addition to demonstrating top features, Flash will throw down a live DJ set with the new system. Utilizing Numark's NuVJ controller and the corresponding GrandVJ software, UR artist Atlantis will demonstrate how he blends film clips, photos and digital video to create a "live" visual accompaniment to musical performance. And in what is sure to be a first for Remix Hotel, UR's De'SeanJones will show audiences Akai's Electronic Wind Instrument and its applications in house and techno music.

What's more, techno innovators Stephan Bodzin, Richard Devine and Raw Hedroom will conduct one-of-a-kind product showcases on the Lemur, JazzMutant's groundbreaking touchscreen controller. DubSpot, the premier music school for both aspiring & experienced producers and DJs, will host master classes in Ableton Live 8, one of the most innovative and popular platforms in modern music production. Propellerhead software pro James Bernard will show advanced production techniques using Reason, ReCycle and ReFills.

Finally, IK Multimedia will host master classes in T-RackS 3, and sflogicninja (in conjunction with Pyramind) will host a Remix Hotel Miami 2009 master class demonstrating some essential steps in electronic music creation in Apple Logic.
