LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Warner Bros. Records' recording artists Meg & Dia will release their second album, titled 'Here, Here and Here', April 21, 2009 on Warner Bros. Records.
Fans will be able to pre-order the album from the band's website and will receive an autographed copy of the album insert along with an early download of 'Agree to disagree,' (GarageBand demo). A special CD/DVD package of 'here, here and here', which includes a 30-minute, behind-the-scenes video of Meg & Dia while writing and recording the album during the summer in Los Angeles, will also be available for pre-order, and upon release will exclusively be sold through the band's website.
'Here, here and here' was written and recorded with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects). Over the course of its 13 brand-new studio tracks (written entirely by sisters Meg and Dia Frampton), the album chronicles the past few years in the life of this hardworking band, which is made up of Meg (guitar, vocals), Dia (lead vocal), Nick Price (drums), Carlo Gimenez (guitar), and Jonathan Snyder (bass). 'Here, here and here' also showcases Meg & Dia's growing ability to express themselves musically by incorporating new instrument arrangements and a new pool of lyrical influences, as well as honing in on their distinctive brand of pop-rock.
Meg & Dia are currently on the road for an extensive tour, giving fans a taste of what's to come by performing songs from 'Here, here and here', as well as old favorites from their debut album 'Something Real', including the fan fave singles 'Monster' and 'Roses.'
On a marathon tour for the last two and half years in support of 'Something Real', Meg & Dia launched their first headlining tour last September after a series of high-profile dates with Angels & Airwaves (fronted by former Blink-182 vocalist-guitarist Tom Delonge). In 2007 the band joined the Vans Warped Tour, playing on Hurley.com stage for the entire tour.
