(Top40 Charts/ Thrive Records) - A-Trak, the Montreal-born, Brooklyn-based DJ/producer will release his highly anticipated mix album Infinity +1 on April 14th on the renowned electronic label Thrive Records. Without a doubt one of the world's hardest-working DJs, A-Trak has made his mark by consistently delivering inventive mixes ("Dirty South Dance"), remixes (Kanye West's "Stronger", Boys Noize's "Oh"), and original productions (Kid Sister's "Pro Nails", "Running Man"). His rise to turntablist stardom at an early age cemented his role in DJ history by winning multiple DMC championships and touring the world. The well-rounded impresario has since been Kanye West's DJ, launched his own label Fool's Gold Records, and has tenaciously held down the blogosphere through his frequent contributions to over 5 well known blogs.

Infinity +1 effortlessly melds A-Trak's hip-hop, house and electro influences into a creative and highly melodic uptempo party-rocking set. Equally at home on headphones as it is in the club, it features A-Trak's signature scratching prowess, custom edits, and new and exclusive remixes - including his live-string disco remix of Sebastien Tellier's "Kilometer" that is already being heralded as "remix of the year" by Pedro Winter, among others. Infinity +1 again sets A-Trak at the forefront of electronic music in 2009.

In preparation for the release of the official mix album, the tech-savvy DJ A-Trak is launching a special Infinity +1 countdown site which will feature one new piece of content released daily leading up to the album release.

Leading off this digital onslaught is an 8 minute downloadable teaser minimix showcasing some of the many high points of Infinity +1 along with a personal video introduction to the site from A-Trak and his sidekick, Jonathan the Gorilla. Future content posts include interviews and exclusive downloads from artists and remixers featured on Infinity +1, tour video diaries, science lessons and possibly more ventriloquism.

An extremely active Twitter user, A-Trak will be utilizing a Twitter based campaign to keep people up to date about new content posts on the countdown site and his life in general as he ramps up to the album release with a nonstop month of touring and promotion.
