LOS ANGELES (Shooting Star Official Website) - Neil Young's "Let's Roll" is enjoying a second life thanks to the Midwestern rock band Shooting Star. The group - which had success in the '80s with songs including "Last Chance," "You've Got What I Need," and "Hang On For Your Life" - has added a cover of "Let's Roll" to a new reissue of its 2000 album, Leap Of Faith. Young wrote the song - a tribute to Todd Beamer and the other passengers who fought their hijackers on Flight 93 - shortly after the September 11, 2001, terror attacks. He released it on his 2002 album, Are You Passionate? vShooting Star is donating proceeds from the sales of both Leap Of Faith and the new DVD, Tonight - which includes a video for "Let's Roll" - to the Todd Beamer Foundation, named for the Flight 93 passenger whose directive to fellow passengers provided the title for Young's song.
