LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ New Line Records) - New Line Records announces the release of the original soundtrack to the upcoming New Line Cinema/Offspring Entertainment production, 17 Again starring Zac Efron and Matthew Perry.

The thirteen-track record offers material from Cat Power, newcomers The Virgins, Vincent, Vincent and the Villains, Sub Pop mainstay The Helio Sequence and other indie favorites. The collection also features classic artists; no film about reclaiming the glory days would be complete without Kenny Loggins' 'Danger Zone.' The true tour de force, however, is Young MC's 'Bust a Move' from the film's major dance scene where Zac Efron does what he does best: dance!

The soundtrack features the first mashup legally cleared by every major music publisher and record label. The mashup, called 'Push It Fergasonic,' was created by DJ Axel and combines Fergie - 'Fergalicious' vs Salt N' Pepa - 'Push It' vs JJ Fad - 'Supersonic.' When the legal dust settled, twelve publishers, three record labels and even Woody Allen all approved this mashup for release. The track is a guaranteed dancefloor filler and was added to WKTU Radio in NYC as the 'Featured Song of the Week' upon release. The soundtrack is now available everywhere. The mashup is featured exclusively on the digital version of the soundtrack, available in iTunes, Amazon, and all digital music stores.
