Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Star Country Media) - SKYLA SPENCER is scheduled to perform TWO sets during this Saturday's 10th Annual Country Music Marathon and 1/2 Marathon! Skyla will be performing on Stage 12A, located at 10th circle on Gay Street in downtown Nashville, TN. Her first set is 7:30 - 8:30 AM, and she'll play her second at 9:50 - 10:40 AM. Skyla will be showcasing her NEW single, "This Girl," during both performances.

Skyla first introduced "This Girl" to media during last month's Country Radio Seminar (CRS) week. During the week, she spent time giving interviews to various credentialed media who attended the event. She also had the opportunity to film a PSA for the Nashville Goes Nautical project.

During the last few months, Skyla has been splitting her time between recording her new album and teaching line dance at Nashville's world famous Wildhorse Saloon.

"This Girl," the first single from Skyla's forthcoming album, will be released nationwide via CDX Vol. No 474 on May 11.

Skyla Spencer is a gifted songwriter as well as a seasoned performer. Her debut album, You Said You'd Call Me, was released in the summer of 2005. The album containing eleven original songs - all written by Skyla - included "If I Were Rain," which was used in a documentary titled Moving On From 9/11. "If I Were Rain" was also featured overseas on the Armed Forces Entertainment Tour in 2006.

In the summer of 2008, Skyla earned a spot as one of 200 line dancers performing in the Alan Jackson music video for "Good Time." Skyla previously enjoyed a cameo role in Eric Church's debut video for "How 'Bout You."
