NEW YORK (50 Cent Fans Website) - Rapper 50 Cent continues to rewrite the record books with his hit single, "In Da Club." During one week in March, the song reached an astounding 170.2 million radio listeners. That makes it the most listened-to song in radio history. The song also helped 50 Cent move 872,000 copies of his album, Get Rich Or Die Tryin', within its first four days of its release. The 26-year-old rapper said that part of the reason people are responding to his music has to do with the fact that, when it comes to his lyrics, he means what he says and he says what he means. "If I say something, it's because that's the way I feel," 50 Cent said. "That's what I think, you know what I mean? That's just who I am. We've all got defects of character--that's one of my defects of character. I say what I'm thinking, and if it's wrong, it may be wrong to you, and because I live like that I deal with all the consequences of my actions, and I'm content." 50 Cent has sold nearly four million copies of Get Rich Or Die Tryin' in the U.S. to date.
